Camp Good Days
Camp Good Days provides monthly local activities and summer camp experiences to children impacted by cancer, including those diagnosed, their siblings, those children with a parent diagnosed, and bereaved children. Adult recreational programs are also offered to those diagnosed.
Cancer Support Community
Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club Rochester provices comprehensive social, emotional, and wellness programs for individuals and families of all ages impacted by cancer. They offer one-on-one therapy, professionally facilitated support groups, family and youth activities, and clinical resources, along with meals of support and a food pantry. Their goal is to create a community where no one faces cancer alone.
C.U.R.E.
C.U.R.E Childhood Cancer Association provides non-medical support to children who have cancer or chronic blood disorder and their family. They partner with Golisano Children’s Hospital, meeting families upon diagnosis, and provide support throughout treatment and beyond.
Hope Lodge
The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge program provides a free home away from home for cancer patients and their caregivers. More than just a roof over their heads, it’s a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need. Each Hope Lodge community offers a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their own private room. Patients staying at a Hope Lodge must be in active cancer treatment.
